More 7 on 7

Didn't take a lot of pictures since it was so hot. Don't even know how the boys handled it, all the spectators were underneath a tent or umbrella just trying to block the sun!

Project Grad

Project  Grad is a party for the graduates where they leave the school and go to Main Event, a bowling/arcade place, and are locked in all night. I volunteered to help so my night stared out with meeting at the school at 10 pm, at 10:30 the seniors started to check in. At about 11:40 we started to load them in buses. I rode the bus over with one of the groups. From 12 am-5 am I just walked around, guarded doors, manned the bull ride, walked around some more and guarded another door and rode a bus back to the school with the same kids I rode up with. Made it back to the school at about 6 am, Makenzie was already home since she was on an earlier bus. Makenzie won a sweet par of Ray Ban sunglasses and all the grads got  $50 gift card to Best Buy. This is a fun event for the grads and gives them an opportunity to party in a safe environment and spend time with their friends, not to mention all the cool prizes they can win. I did find out I'm not as young as I used to be as staying up all night kind of kicked my butt, I was super tired and tried to take a nap, but there were a lot of interruptions, maybe next time i will just stick with passing out prizes back at the school like I did with my first two.
Ready to start the night!

On a hot bus with a bunch of 18 year olds

Had to laugh that kids were charging their phones

Why am I doing this??

I survived Project Grad!! Barely!!

Class of 2014: Makenzie's Graduation

Houston, we have another graduate! Makenzie graduated from Cinco Ranch High School. There were over 800 graduates and Makenzie was in the top 7% of her class!

Cake with the family

Before Makenzie headed off to Graduation, we did a quick cake and candle birthday ritual since everyone was home!
